We make small apps that respect your time.
ZebbyBox is an independent studio that makes iPhone apps. Each one does a single job, opens straight to it, and never asks you to make an account.
What we make and why
We make apps for everyday jobs: cleaning up a photo library, sending an invoice, tuning a guitar, keeping recipes, remembering a daily pill. They are small jobs, and the apps for them are often slower and more complicated than the job deserves.
Our approach is to build the smallest app that does the job properly, then polish it. That means a clear first screen, the fewest possible steps to the result, and nothing you have to learn before you can start. You can see the full lineup on the apps page.
What we hold to
One job, done well
Each of our apps starts from one problem: a camera roll that has got out of hand, an invoice that needs to go out today, a guitar that is out of tune. Everything in the app serves that problem.
When a feature would make the app better at something else, we leave it out. A smaller app is easier to learn, easier to trust and easier to keep working well.
The fewest taps to the result
We design each app backwards from the result you want. Then we count every tap, screen and decision between opening the app and getting there, and remove the ones that do not earn their place.
We aim for short onboarding, sensible defaults and the main action within reach of your thumb.
No account, and your data stays with you
None of our apps asks you to make an account. There is no sign-up screen, no password and no email to confirm.
What you make in our apps is stored on your device, in the app's own storage. We do not run a server that holds your invoices, photos, recipes or tasks, so there is nothing of yours for us to read, lose or sell. Each app's privacy policy lists exactly what it stores and which outside services, such as Apple's App Store, are involved.
A fair price, with a one-time option
Every app is free to download and useful before you pay anything. When an app has paid features, the free part still does the core job.
Where we offer a subscription, a one-time purchase sits next to it, so you can pay once and keep the app for good. Apple handles every payment, and we never see your card details.
No forced updates
An app you rely on should not stop working because you skipped an update. We never block an older version from opening, and new versions carry your existing data forward.
Links we publish keep working, so a guide you bookmarked or a link you shared still goes where it should.
How we price
Every app is free to download and does its core job before you pay anything. Paid features are for people who use an app a lot and want more from it.
When an app has a subscription, a one-time purchase sits next to it. SwipeLeft, for example, is free for 50 swipes a day, and SwipeLeft Pro removes the limit for $4.99 a month or $14.99 once. Each app's website lists its current prices.
Apple processes every purchase through the App Store, so we never see your card details, and you manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings like any other.
How we treat your data
None of our apps has an account. What you make in them is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, and we run no server that keeps a copy. We cannot read your invoices, photos, recipes or tasks, because we never receive them.
Some things do involve an outside service, and each app's privacy policy names them. Apple handles payments, and several apps use RevenueCat to confirm that a purchase is active. Our boba game offers optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob, and its policy explains what Google receives when you choose to watch one.
Every app has its own privacy policy on its website. The full list is on our privacy page, and our post on why our apps never ask you to make an account explains how backups and moving to a new iPhone work without one.
